Dates, Deadlines and Costs

Credit Hour Minimums:

42 clock hours are required as a minimum per credit hour. No single internship may exceed 4 credit hours. Students may choose to obtain fewer credits than their clock hours qualify them to receive.

Cost of Internship Credit:

During the summer and winter terms, students must pay $150 per academic credit received for their internship.

Internship Contract Deadlines:

It is the student’s responsibility to complete the contract, which includes obtaining all signatures and writing or soliciting all supporting paperwork. Completed contracts must be submitted to the Career Development Center by the end of the first full week of classes for the academic session in which the internship will occur. There is an appeal process for late adds.

    Internship contracts are due by the end of the first full week of classes for the session in which the internship occurs.

    Contracts submitted during appeal period must be accompanied by an Appeal Form regardless of reason or circumstances. After that date, Internships may not earn credit.
